Augustinas Eidukonis

Augustinas Eidukonis was born in 1995 in Vilnius, Lithuania. He has been learning at the National M. K. Ciurlionis School of Arts since 2002, in the professor Vida – Emilija Prekeryte’s class. In 2011, he was invited by the Mstislav Rostropovich Foundation to participate in its project for talented youth “National Students’ Academy”, he regularly participated there until 2014.
In 2014, he was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London (United Kingdom) and the Luebeck Academy of Music (Germany) for Bachelor of Music course in Piano. He chose to study in the Luebeck Academy of Music with prof. Konrad Elser.
For the Academic Year 2017/18 he was studying by the Erasmus+ program in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with prof. Willem Brons.
In 2017, Augustinas Eidukonis won the 2nd prize in the 11th International Lagny-sur-Marne Piano Competition in France.
In the same year, he won the award “Steinway Förderpreis Klassik 2017” founded by Steinway & Sons Hamburg.
Since December 2015, he is the “Weiland Kulturstiftung H. Hamkens” foundation’s scholarship holder, since September 2016 - “Ad Infinitum” foundation’s scholarship holder.
Since 2019, he is a “Yehudi Menuhin - Live Music Now Lübeck e.V.” scholarship holder.
He finished his Bachelor of Music studies in 2019. At the moment, he continues his studies in Luebeck with prof. Konrad Elser in the course Master of Music. In September 2020 he will study at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris with prof. Marie-Josèphe Jude.
Augustinas Eidukonis plays solo recitals and also participates in concerts as a member of various chamber ensembles in Lithuania, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland and France. He regularly participates in masterclasses. Among others, he had lessons with professors:
Andrzej Jasiński, Jerome Lowenthal, Michel Béroff, Bernd Goetzke, Vera Nosina, Michael Lewin.
